Description

Given the fact that a shrink sleeve label can conform to virtually any shaped bottle or container, these labels offer a full 360 degrees of billboard space.

All this without compromising the quality or clarity of the graphics. This is obviously an extremely effective means of delivering an additional shelf appeal.

Using Shrink Labels provides the opportunity to decorate the bottle or container with some very eye-catching designs.

Until recent years polyvinyl chloride (PVC) has been the main material used for shrink labels, but with environmental issues now being a hot topic worldwide some (in particular overseas) companies are pushing for more environmentally friendly materials. For this reason, we now also offer Shrink labels made from PET, PLA or OPS materials, which are considered to be more environmentally friendly and price stable than traditional petroleum-based substrates.

D&L Packaging boasts many years experience in the field of shrink labels. Our in house engineers can help through the design stages and the distortion requirements. We can then advise the best and most economical method by which to proceed with the print, we then undertake the print process and deliver a high quality finished product to you.

When applied by hand, it is a simple matter of passing the container through a heat tunnel to shrink the label to the shape of the bottle or container.

D&L Packaging offers both the application equipment and the shrink labels and we have in house expertise in both areas and can confidently advise on both your machinery and your label needs.

The printing of the labels is done on one of 6 rotogravure presses, ranging from single colour up to nine colour.

Because of our experience with our own range of shrink label applicators, we also understand what is required from the label to be able to be applied automatically in a trouble-free fashion. The ability to be able to offer a complete solution, from machinery design and supply to the design and production of your labels is unmatched by any of our competition in New Zealand.
